Apple’s iPhone event will be this October 4th

Apple has made it official for the iPhone event at Apple’s Cupertino campus on Oct. 4th.

Apple will unveil the iPhone 5. They are also likely to unveil a second, cheaper iPhone model based off the current iPhone 4, a 4s?. The event will be the first with Tim Cook as CEO.

As 9to5Mac reported yesterday, Apple’s next iPhone will sport a dual-core A5 chip from iPad 2 with nine times faster graphics, giving the handset a leg up over the latest Android phones in the graphics department and gaming. The processor will pack in 1GB of RAM, twice as much as the iPhone 4′s A4 chip or iPad 2′s A5 processor.

It has been rumored to have an 8 MP camera, an aluminum back, a larger screen and a slew of other upgrades. Apple is also expected to unveil a new Assistant feature for iOS 5 and will bring some special guests on stage. We’re expecting Facebook for iPad to be launched too.

MacRumors.com has some almost believable models and they look sexy!

This will be Apple’s first iPhone event since June 2010, when it released the iPhone 4. iPhone 5 demand is expected to be strong, thanks to the lack of a phone release this summer and the addition of the iPhone on the Verizon network. Sprint is also expected to get the iPhone. – Mashable

Gadgets: Sex and the city 2 has plenty

We watched Sex and the city’s next installment and it never cease to make me do reality check. Most the scenes were funny and I imagine myself in the Middle East, I won’t survive that long LOL. I am not a tradionalist or a culture conscious guy.
Anyway, I love gadgets and tech! The movie has plenty of these gadgets, brands like HP, Panasonic, Blackberry & Apple.

Apple has been promoting its products actively in movies specially those that reflect society and reality. Carrie still uses her Macbook Pro and iPhone by Charlotte. But she now prints her document which is a bit new to me. Maybe a new HP printer?

HP has been active this year in the entertainment industry. Project Runway used tablets instead of sketchpads to make it more efficient when designing clothes. Guess who uses the new Touchmart 600 and the new Clutchpad designed by Viviene Tam? It’s Samantha Jones. She uses it at her firm and brings one butterfly designed nettop in Abu Dhabi. Blackberry phones where present too and used by Miranda and Mr. Prescot. These phones suit them with the kind of work they have.

A panasonic phone got my attention also and the LCD TV which they argued with.

Apple iPhone More Cons than Pros

I was amazed by this product, having a big product launch and a huge marketing campaign.. Apple did it again with their new iPhone. So stylish and simple. It’s like a dream-phone but after all the flashy stuff, I begin to read what other says. 

Yes! it is Stylish and has touch interface but there’s nothing more not unless you had an iPod before.  Plus a camera and a visuals that are addictive.

The Bad News is No memory card slot, no replaceable battery, no wireless downloads, EDGE network, Price, Monthly Service & no 3G.

It’s just amazing how the world went crazy and China even made clones of this phone and spread out that easily too. Apple is superb in marketing and that’s just it! but the product likely more disturbs me. Nokia N96 would be a best replacement for this.
